Reiki courses and costs

As a Reiki Master/Teacher, Linden offers courses in the three degrees of Usui Reiki for beginner, practitioner and Master/Teacher levels. Reiki is for sharing and we believe that the costs of Reiki training should enable as many people as possible to participate. Linden also made a promise to her own Usui Reiki teacher that she would not charge students the high fees she paid to study Reiki but would keep them affordable. Offering courses at these prices is part of our commitment to that.

In offering courses in all three Usui Reiki degrees we prefer to do so in small groups so that students get plenty of personal support as well as sharing the experience with other students. Courses are organized on an individual basis. Prospective students for Usui Reiki 1,2 and 3 can contact us via email and each course is arranged as soon as two or more students have registered for a specific course.

Karuna Reiki® Courses

Karuna Reiki® was developed in the USA in the 1990s by William Lee Rand and some of his Master level students. It offers a chance for further development in Reiki for students who have already achieved Usui Reiki Master status and have had time to incorporate those higher energies into their lives and practice. William Lee Rand didn't want to dilute Usui Reiki in any way and that's why this training is only given to Reiki Masters. Further information about this powerful Reiki can be found on the ICRT website www.reiki.org. Only Reiki teachers, who are accredited by the International Centre for Reiki Training, and have an authorized registration number, are allowed to teach Karuna Reiki® and to obtain the required course documentation from the ICRT for their courses.

Course fees

Karuna Reiki® 1 & 2 £160

Karuna Reiki® Master £250

Courses

Usui Reiki 1 (Beginners' Course)

Reiki level 1 is taught during a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. There is plenty of time for students to discuss the course as it happens and to ask plenty of questions. The course covers an introduction to Usui Reiki and discussion of its benefits, the background to and history of Reiki healing, the Reiki Principles, Reiki Precepts, the Reiki lineage, Reiki hand positions, an introduction to the chakras and aura, the Reiki Attunements and opportunities for hands-on practice with self-treatment and in treating others. A pack of course materials is provided, including suggestions for further reading.

The cost of the course includes a light vegetarian lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits and the fee also covers a short follow-up session and the opportunity for ongoing supportive contact with the teacher by email/phone etc.

Usui Reiki 2 (Practitioners' Course)

The Reiki Level 2 training, for students who have already been attuned to Reiki 1, is taught in a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. Again, there is plenty of time for discussion, questions and hands-on practice. The course covers a range of issues including learning about the Reiki symbols and various practices not available to Level 1 students, advice about becoming a Reiki practitioner and how to conduct a Reiki treatment session as well as two additional Reiki Attunements.

Usui Reiki 3 (Master/Teachers' Course)

Reiki Level 3 is a two-day course for students who have completed Reiki 2 and have had sufficient time to assimilate their learning. Third Degree Reiki is not only for those who want to become Reiki teachers and to pass on their experience to others but also for students who want to devote their lives to Reiki on a more personal level. Reiki 3 attunement can have profound effects upon the student, who must be fully aware of these before starting such a potentially life-changing course. The sessions involve learning about how to attune students to Reiki 1, 2 and 3 and how to go about teaching Reiki courses. The Master symbols are taught and the Master Attunement given, which sets the practitioner on the path to becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher. Again, there is plenty of time for hands-on practice and further course materials are provided. The cost of the course includes a light vegetarian lunch on both days, tea/coffee and biscuits. The fee also includes a short follow-up session and the opportunity for ongoing supportive contact with the teacher by email/phone etc.

N.B. Linden is willing to take students for Reiki 2 and 3 who have done their Reiki 1 courses elsewhere, but this would require prior discussion with her about the implications for the student's learning.

Karuna Reiki® I and II (for Master Level students only)

These two levels are taught during a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. There is plenty of time for students to discuss the course as it happens and to ask plenty of questions. The course covers an introduction to Karuna Reiki® and discussion of its benefits, the background to and history of this type of Reiki healing, the healing process, an introduction to the Karuna 1 and 2 symbols and their uses alone or in combination and the use of chanting and toning in Karuna Reiki®.

The cost of the course includes a light vegetarian lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits and the fee also covers course materials provided via the ICRT and the opportunity for ongoing supportive contact with the teacher by email/phone etc.

Karuna Reiki®Master I and II

These two levels are taught during a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. There is plenty of time for students to discuss the course as it happens and to ask plenty of questions.
